3. Give end-users permission to use Documill Dynamo

Warning:

The Salesforce permission related to Documill solution doesn't work properly when you test by logging in as end-users. You may receive "Insufficient Privileges error" or not seeing the template list. However, when the end-users login directly to Salesforce, they don't have that issue. It's recommended that you ask the users to log in and test by themselves, or have another test account as end-users.

To give users permission to use Documill Dynamo, you need to configured Connected Apps to give the user Profiles the right to access to the application and Visualforce Page's Security to give the user Profiles the right to access to the Visualforce page. Instructions include:

  1. Open Connected Apps
  2. Edit OAuth policies
  3. Add Profiles
  4. Visualforce Page's Security

1. Open Connected Apps

First navigate to the setup menu where connected apps are configured. Lightning and Classic UI setup menus are found in different places

In Classic UI:

Go to Setup, in the Quick Find, search for Connected Apps

Select the Connected Apps under Administer -> Manage Apps -> Connected Apps

In Lightning UI:

Go to Setup, in the Quick Find, search for Connected Apps

Select the Manage Connected Apps under Apps -> Connected Apps -> Manage Connected Apps

Look for Dynamo Service app in the list. Click to the app name or Edit button to edit

2. Edit OAuth policies

Select Edit Policies

In OAuth policies section, change the Permitted Users policies to "Admin approved users are pre-authorized"

Select Save

The OAuth policies now will look like example below

3. Add Profiles

Scroll down to Profiles section, select Manage Profiles

Add all the Profiles who will use Dynamo or will create documents. The Profiles are not added to the list will be disallowed.

4. Visualforce Page's Security

In Setup -> Visualforce Pages

Click to Security button next to the Visualforce page used in the button

Make sure you enable all the Profiles those need access for using that page.
